Comment: Thank you so much for sending me the WW2 posters some of which we copied to set the scene for our recent 1940's fancy dress birthday party. Those along with all my other paraphinalia (wind up portable gramaphone, war time 78's, kit bag, gas masks, ration/clothing books,etc made for a fabulous night of 1940's clothes food music and laughter. Comment: Ryedale Folk Museum saw a super display on the 6th June. Especially good were the home front people, including two very hot ladies making soup in the cottage kitchen while hubby lounged in the sunshine - lucky devil. More power to your elbow.

Comment: I went to the 40s weekend at Great Central Railway parking as i always do at Loughborough. What a surprise i got seeing your wonderful display & knowlegable members.I brought my mother along on the Sunday and she had so many memories of that time.
